Sam grew up as an athlete her entire life. In high school she played both Varsity field hockey and lacrosse. While attending The College of New Jersey, she continued her career as a Division 3 athlete in field hockey and helped win the 2012 National Championships. Sam is currently a middle school art teacher and the girls Varsity field hockey and lacrosse coach in Cranford. Sam found CrossFit during her training in college and hasn't looked back since. The same work ethic and discipline she had learned throughout her sports career helped her transition into CrossFit easily. However, the strong sense of encouragement and support is what stood out to her the most. CrossFit has helped Sam gain confidence in and outside of the gym and her goal as a coach is to spread that positive energy with the other athletes. Sam is a passionate and driven athlete and she is a strong female presence here at TreeHouse. She is extremely excited to get to work with the members and she looks forward to seeing everyone continuously grow throughout their fitness journey.
